NBA All Star Weekend has not been in Chicago since 1988. Every Chicago brand took the opportunity to show Chicago as the greatest city in the US. At Leaders, we did eight collaborations, including Starter Jackets. The overall theme was to have every piece relate or match one another. This could be with the Chicago stars or sports team colors. Our biggest message was “welcome to Chicago.” There is a family within the city, and we wanted to share that with the world. The amount of body of work and relationships was to show dominance in a humble way.
